Architecture & Governance

Architecture & Governance Magazine is a very successful print publication covering the arcane world of Enterprise Architecture software.  When the time came to create a companion community website, they asked Tarakan Design to design and build it.  The new site had to manage and organize the hundreds of articles previously published by the magazine, as well as add modern website features, such as users, premium content restriction, commenting, a blog and streaming video.

Tarakan built the site, migrated all the articles, and created a taxonomy system to help readers find just the article they were looking for.  Soon after the launch the website had thousands of active users.  In fact, the website was so successful that A&G decided to move their magaine entirely to the web and discontinue the print version.

Tarakan continues to fully manage the site for A&G, creating the web content from articles and adding new functionality.
